Whoo-wee

As you have seen Matthew’s room is always a mess!  Today was the “drop dead” day for getting it cleaned up.  He suggested that I help him as part of his birthday gift.  Well, help turned into do.  Five hours later I was done.  Whew!  Can you believe that his mean Mama threw all his “favorite” stuff away... LOL!

Mrs. Main sent him the perfect gift.  Crazy Bandz, lots of candy, treats, and a little hidden treasure!  Grandma Sybil had been by already with her gift and a cake. So, we decided that Matthew could open his gift from us.  Just as he asked, cold hard cash.

Matthew and his daddy went shopping.  Matthew comes back with a new go-cart.  Tracy helped him get the financing figured out, papers signed and they were out the door.

This is going to be a great learning experience for Matthew.  Buying something with his own money, making payments and learning financial responsibility.   But, I will have to say, the smile on his face says it all!

Today was the last day of spending time with my eleven year old.  He turns 12 tomorrow.  Preteen… oh my.  But, I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!  He is so loved!  SigLine
